Anne Spicer
- Born: 1776
- Christened: 15 Apr 1776, Broadmayne, Dorset, England 1777
General Notes:
What happened to Ann is unknown for sure but it is likely that she married Samuel Stickland by Banns in June of 1800 in Broadmayne. She may be dead by 1841: 56 year old Samuel is on the census of Bridport with 60 year old Hester. (Ann? or someone else) Anna daughter of Samuel and Ann Stickland baptised 29 May 1802. Charles baptised 13 Set 1801. May be the Ann Stickland died in Wool 15 April 1802 age 49 (b. 1771)
Research Notes:
Possibly married Samuel Stickland 18 June 1800 (Banns) in Broadmayne. Not found in 1841 or 1851. There are, however, many possiblilites ------- John Stickland???: Will of STICKLANDWill of John Stickland of Broadmayne, Dorset10 September 1855PROB 11/2219 Ruled out. See Below

Downloaded. It names Anne Stickland spinster of Burton Broadstock [Daughter] and names James Tarzwold of Sturminster Newton and many in his family. Unfortunately cannot find James Tarzwold on the census of 1851 or 1841. Also names Martha Wellman which eliminates this possiblility since she is the servant in the house of John (84) and Sarah (80) Stickland in Broadmayne in 1851. Also Ann Stickland (45) in the household in 1841.
