Likely remarried: 1890 census of Jerup og Napstjert shows a Soren Olesen, 65 (b.1825) married to 70 year old Maren Pedersen with Martin Kritian Madsen, 14 (b. 1876) listed as a foster son.

Likely remarried again as the 1901 census shows him as married to Else Marie Jensen, 71 (b. 1830) in the household of his son Anders Jorgen Sorensen, 45 (b. 1856). Both Else and Soren are listed as Grandmother pensioner and Grandfather pensioner. He is likely a grandfather to the sons of Anders, but what exactly her relationship to the family is unknown.
