General Notes: Mentioned as a brother to Anna in her obituary as "Osker Smith" of Sheldon, CT. Very likely he travelled to America on the ship Harold in 1881 with Anna and his brother-in-law Christian. The passenger list says he was a farmer and going to NY. Also on that page are two females, "Lonnie," and "Hannert" Sorensen. Research Notes: Searched town of Elling parish registers 1856-1866 (Males). Several Sorensons but no Oskar.
