General Notes:
Birthdate is only 6 months after marriage date of her parents although there are different dates of that marriage.. Some sources show birthdate as Feb 29, 1725. Doubtful that that was a leap year day.
In 1757 she had to defend her "misconduct" at several Women's Meetings and that lasted over a period of several years. It wasn't until 1762 that she was evidently forgiven for any misconduct and on February of that year she requested a certificate to remove to Abington, which was approved at the June 1, 1762 women's meeting. An entry in the Abington Men's Minutes meeting in 1794 mentions that Sarah Stockdale is in need of relief from the Committee of the Poor. (PA > Montgomery > Abington MM > Men's minutes, 1782-1797, Vol 6. > Image 142.) This was evidently granted for in the minutes at the end of 1799 money, £22.2.6 was authorized to pay to her.
