Named in his father's will of 1849 as "of Bere Regis." Tithe maps of 1838, when he would have been about 34, show him as a landowner in Bere Regis, a small house, garden and plot occupied by Elizabeth Davis. Elizabeth Davis was the witness of the 1854 will of Charles Woodrow in Briantspuddle who was then buried in Bere Regis. ![]()
