Research Notes:
Probably born on the voyage to America in 1675 as there is no record of his birth or baptism. The Documentary History of New York, Passenger Lists record that Jacques and Pierronne Bentyn DuBois arrived with 7 children. As their first child Marie died prior to 1666, and all their children were listed as having been born in Europe, the only deduction is that Christian was born during the voyage and perhaps was baptised on the ship "Bontecou". p 28.
