There is a Theodocia Hitchcock (age 41) in Cheektowaga, Erie County in 1850 with three children, Edwin, Mary, and Jessie.
Re-married John S. Martin (1855 NY State Census Hanover, Chautaugua Co., E.D.1 - Image 11 or search for Edwin Hitchcock). She is listed as wife with step-son Edwin and step-daughter Mary E.
Death of Thodosia Martin in Lowville in 1889 may be her per the newspaper obituary in the Lowville paper:

It is two years off and also it seems unlikely that in less than 10 years she would have relocated 150 miles to the northeast from Hanover to Lowville, but it is possible. Lowville in 1880 is home to John Tuttle, age 83, brother of Martin's first wife? 377

1850 Federal Census shows a Theodocia Hitchcock (age 41) in Cheektowanga, Erie County, New York with three children, 18, 14 & 11. No husband. Same page shows the family of Alexander Hitchcock, age 59.
William Mann mentions that he hears from Theodocia in a letter to his brother written in 1865.
