General Notes:
familywarham.co.uk has another Robert in this line: Robert Warham* of Malshanger Basingstoke, was brother to Richard Warham and to Thomas Warham of Croydon.
Robert Warham* was father to William Warham Archbishop, Nicholas, Magdalene, Hugh and Robert (2) Warham.
Robert (2) Warham was father to John Wareham of Osmington; (John was Lord of Winderton in Wingham, Kent. A quo Warham of Osmington, Dorset).
This was the only link found that joins the 'families' of Osmyngtone and Malshanger.
John Wareham of Osmington was father to: Dorothie Warham, born Maiden Newton 1551 (Died 1611 Poxwell) and Edward Wareham
Dorothie married John Hennynge of Poxwell. They had ten children. Poxwell is a small settlement close to Osmington. It consists of an impressive manor house, a farm and a few thatched cottages made of Portland Stone.
Frances Saunders eldest daughter of Sir Nicholas Saunders MP and Elizabeth Blunt, married Edward Warham of Osmington; Edward was Great Nephew to Archbishop William Warham.
A family tree for this period will be placed here in due course.

The progenitor of the line was either William or Robert, or both. The Dictionary of National Biography, 1885 edition, says Robert whereas a pedigree published by the Harleian Society has "William (Robert erased.)"
His family has been established by the various pedigrees as published by the Harleian Society, but not without some contradictions and confusions. A pedigree of published in Visitation of Surrey, 1530, 1572, and 1632 (from Harl. 1561) does not include John as a son, but then does not include other children that were published in the Visitation of Hampshire 1530, 1575, and 1622-1634 (from Harl. 1544), including John. John's inclusion in the family is borne out by The Visitation of the County of Dorset 1623 (from Harl. 1166) which describes the same Coat of Arms as that of the Visitation of Hampshire and is the pedigree of "John Warham of Compton in Com. Dorset."
A further confusion is created from the pedigree published in the Visitaiton of Hampshire which points to John as "John Warham of Wingham in Kent," and refers to a pedigree published in the Visitation of Kent, 1663-1668. There is no coat of Arms published or described with that pedigree so it is further research to determine what those Arms are, but in any case that John's pedigree is at least a generation or two later.
Given this, the family of Willian / Robert Warham in this genealogy follows the Visitations of Hampshire (from Harl. 1544) published by the Harleian Society in 1913.
The pedigree published in "Account of the Manor of Haling" differs from the Visitations as to the marriage of William/Robert to Anne Hedley of Somerset. 351,1828,1829,1830
