28 March 1697: Admitted to membership in the First Dutch Church, Kingston.

(This church was established Aug. 17, 1659, the first building being a log 'ediface' at the northeast coner of Main and Pearl Strrets close to the present (1968) building. In 1676 it was 'destitue of a minister' and remained so for 11 years, no
doubt explaining the absense of a baptismal record for Jannetje Burhans.)

1732: named in her mother's will.

1735: named in her husband's will.

Jeannetje married Pierre (Or Peter) Dubois, son of Jacques Dubois and Pierronne Bentyn, 12 Oct 1697 in Kingston, Ulster Co., NY. (Pierre (Or Peter) Dubois was born 17 Mar 1673/74 in Leyden, Holland ⁶³⁴, christened 18 Mar 1673/74 in Leyden, Holland, died 23 Jan 1737/38 in Fishkill, Dutchess Co., NY ⁶³⁴ and was buried in Fishkill, NY (Churchyard/Dutch Reformed Church) ⁶³⁴.)
