No evidence other than FaG that he was from Braintree in England.
A Deacon in Rev. Thomas Hooker's congregation which was formed in Hartford in 1636, Hooker having removed himself along with about 100 followers west into Connecticut and are considered the founding fathers of Hartford.
Children by his two wives follows Anderson's Great Migration Begins. See the notes at the end of Butler's entry concerning the children's apparent mothers.
