bullet  General Notes:

Little to none in the way of documentation for Mary Browning.

Banks speculates that she was much younger than her husband and was born ca 1630. 810

bullet  Research Notes:

Banks has no evidence that Mary Browning was either the daughter of Malachi (showing only that Malachi had two children, Susanna and David) or that she was the second wife of John Pease except for the evidence of family tradition: ("From information furnished by Miss Harriet Marshall Pease taken from her father's papers. The note made by him states: 'Red coat John's 2d wife was _____Browning daughter of ________Browning' and cites as authority Peter Pease (b. 1765) who derived it from a conversation with John Coffin (b. 1710) living contemporary with Thomas Pease (b. 1657)) Vol II, p 102 810

Mary married John Pease, son of Robert Pease and Margaret King, in 1648 of Edgartown, Dukes, Mass. (John Pease was born in 1608 in Great Baddow, Essex, England 810, christened 20 Nov 1608 in Great Baddow, Essex, England 810 and died by 3 Jun 1689 810.)
