20 Aug. 1744, Wendel Ham appears on the membership list for the NYC DRC (NYGBR 60:351)

Appears on the 1779 Tax List, Claverack East with land.

23 Nov. 1789/90 Wendal Ham and Lena Seger sponsored Martin, son of Henrich and Nelli (Sullivan) Ham (St. Thomas Evangelical Luth. Church, Churchtown, Columbia Co., NY)

1790 Census, Livingston, Columbia Co.:

Wandel Ham with 2 males over 16, 2 males under 16, 7 females.

6 Sept. 1790 Wandle Ham, formerly of NYC, baker, but now of Livingston, wrote his will in which he mentions his son Conrad W. of the city of New York, and his nephew Coenradt I Ham, son of his brother Jacob Ham of Livingston to have land at Kinderhook. The will was witnessed by granddaughter Maria, daughter of my son Conradt, now wife of John Stoutenburgh.

1800 Census, Livingston, Columbia County:

Wendell Ham with 1 male under 10, 1 male 16-26, 1 male 26-45, 1 male over 45, 2 females under 10, 2 females 10-16, 3 females 16-26, 1 female over 45.

9 Dec. 1800, the will of Wandle Ham above was recorded in Columbia Co. (Columbia County Wills B:84). Judging by the will, Wendel Ham had but one surviviing child.


Wendel married Maria Roome 5 May 1741 in New York City RDC. (Maria Roome died in Jul 1798.)
