The Hyde Genealogy (In Ancestry's North American Family Histories H > Hyde > Hyde Genealogy, or, The Descendants, in the Female as Well as in the Male Lines, From William Hyde,> Image 182 gives the Name Elizabeth Watts: "George Hubbard, who was born in Wakefield, England, in 1594, came to Hartford, Conn., in 1636, and married Elizabeth Watts in 1640, and settled in Hartford, and d. 18 March, 1685, at Middletown."
The Reynolds Family Tree for him has two marriage dates for him to Elizabeth Watts, one in 1640 and the other in 1647, that one unsourced. https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/person/tree/170025965/person/332262130556/facts
FS has a daughter Sarah born in 1635 to Elizabeth, but the references to Sarah Hubbard being George's daughter come, evidently, from the Harrison genealogy which says that Sarah was the daughter of Goerge and Mary (Bishop) of Wethersfield and Milford, who were later permanent settlers at Guilford. https://www.ancestry.com/discoveryui-content/view/1319304:61157 SO...did George have a first marriage to Mary Bishop, and then later to Elizabeth Watts? There are other records for Sarah being born in 1635: see AGBI - https://www.ancestry.com/discoveryui-content/view/3402955:3599 ALSO see Hubbards history and genealogy, Leslie Hubbard pub. 1974, page 4: https://archive.org/details/hubbardshistoryg00hubb/page/3/mode/2up?q=Bishop&view=theater which says he was born in Glastonbury in 1594 and married Mary Bishop and had children which DO Not correspond with the children with Elizabeth Watts, SO EVIDENTLY WE have TWO George Hubbards in and around Guilford, CT.
