  General Notes:

Some online genealogies have indicated that she was born in 1748 and was the twin sister of Shuah. This is simply not true.

Stephen was a Revolutionary War soldier. The family lived in Hollis, New Hampshire until 1789, when they moved to Vershire, Vermont. After her husband's death, Chloe moved to Fletcher, Vermont, where her brother Peter was living and then to Topsham, Vermont, where her husband had once owned land. ³⁰⁷
