Research Notes:
One would think that Mary Carter and Abigail Carter were sisters, marrying the brothers Peter and James Fowle, but this is not established by me. Lineage of the Carter family should be researched (12/1997).
Peter married Mary Carter, daughter of John Carter Captain and Elizabeth. (Mary Carter was born in 1646 and died in 1714.)
