FS has a legacy source that he was baptised in Cartmel, Lancashire 3 Dec 1674 but have not been able to find the original documentation. (4/2021)

Likely travelled with Thomas Strickland, a brother, who was admitted to the Abington MM the previous month:

FS has two marriages with no sources. First to Mary Greenhope on 25 Dec 1723 and second to Frances Wharton with no marriage events but all the children. Given the births of the children that FS has, all before his emigration, it would seem that the marriage to his second wife would be recorded in the Abington MM just before his removal to the Piladelphia MM.

Possibly she was the widow Naylor who had a son, John, by her first marriage and in his will "son-in-law" means step son. Death of Frances needs to be confirmed.
