Events
• Land: settled in the area known as Tantumorantum: Lyme, CT. Given property about 1692 by his father-in-law, Wolston Brockway.
• Will, 20 Aug 1753, Lyme, New London, Colony of Connecticut, British Colonial America. 1929 Date by the signature looks to be "1757" but I think this may be in error. The wills in the record book either side are from 1753. Ancestry has it indexed as "1751." so that might be the date if he died in 1753. Witnesses include William Brockway 2nd, Samuel Ely, and Dorothy Tiffany. Leaves to wife Margarett (a second marriage? - first wife died years before), Daughters Lydia Ackley, Hannah [G]lading, Experience Hood, Mary Champion's children. Sons John and Nathaniel as heirs and executors.
Samuel married Mary Brockway 6 Apr 1692 in Lyme, New London, Connecticut, United States 1913.,1914 (Mary Brockway was born 16 Jan 1668/69 in Lyme, New London, Connecticut, United States 1914 and died 7 Apr 1719 in Lyme, New London, Connecticut, United States 1914.)
