Robert is unmarried, but assumed that Adele is his daughter.

• Census, 1881, Dorchester, Dorset, England. ¹⁷¹⁶ Widow. Lodger. (Where Born probably incorrect. Crossed out is that she is the widow of a merchant...probably refering to her son and that is why it might have been crossed out.)
