  General Notes:

Named in his father's will of 1849 as "of Bere Regis." Tithe maps of 1838, when he would have been about 34, show him as a landowner in Bere Regis, a small house, garden and plot occupied by Elizabeth Davis. Elizabeth Davis was the witness of the 1854 will of Charles Woodrow in Briantspuddle who was then buried in Bere Regis.

Whether him or not, there is a John Woodrow occupying a two plots of buildings in the town of Stalbridge, some 22 miles north of Bere Regis. Plots 513 and 877, one of which is termed a workshop. ¹⁰⁴²
