1 May 1655 at a Court held at New Haven: The court heard a case whereby Sam Ford, aged 16, was called before the court and charged with going to George Smith's house and there almost strangling the son of George Smith, a lad of about five or six years, with a rope. p238

11 Feb 1655 at a General Court: was one of four workmen called upon to look at the West Bridge, which was in disrepair, and to give their judgement as to whether it should be repaired or replaced. (hence the occupation carpenter) p 269
