bullet  General Notes:

Appears to have gone to Rehoboth from Watertown, shortly subsequent to the settling of Rehoboth and is considered one of the original settlers of that place. This and marriage date from p99.

1666: one of the first purchasers of land in the Rehoboth North Purchase.

18 March 1668/9: on the list of names of those who drew for a division on the North Purchase.

Attleborough Falls, John was the first person to lay out lands here circa 1670.

October 1677: sold fifty acres of land at the Falls to his brother, Thomas Daggett, of Martha's Vineyard. A neighbor, Edward Hall, owned land here that was eventually sold, in 1686, to Thomas Daggett of Edgartown. This land was immediately around the Falls, and it included the 'privilege'. 841
