DAGGETT, William
William Daggett of Saco, ME is one of two Daggetts in this ancestry, the other being John Daggett of Martha's Vineyard. It is not known how the two might be related, or if they were. He first appears in Saco, ME in 1681 when he is granted 10 acres at the head of his father-in-law's lot. He was the town constable in 1684 but moved to Marblehead in 1689. His genealogy is recorded in Noyes.
• He was employed. Carpenter William married Rebecca WORMSTALL, daughter of Arthur WORMSTALL and Susanna SCADLOCK, about 1681 in Saco, ME. (Rebecca WORMSTALL was born about 1663 in Winter Harbor, Hancock, ME 1 and died after 1727 in Sutton, Worchester, MA 1.) |
