• Warrent: to appear to answer to accusations, 4 Aug 1651, Plymouth Colony. "A warrent directed to require Ralph Allen, Seni psonally to appeer, to answare vunto such misdemeanors as whereof hee is accused." (sic)

• Court appearance: for not attending church, 7 Oct 1651, Plymouth Colony. 2272 "We further present Ralph Allen, Senior, and his wife, George Allen and his wife, William Allen and Richard Kerbey, Peter Gaunt and his wife, Rose Newland, Edmond Freeman, Senior, and his wife, Goodwife Turner, and widow Knott, all of the town of Sandwich, for not frequenting the public worship of God, contrary to order made the 6th of June, 1651."

• Occupation: Ferry operator, 1669, Pocassat, Plymouth Colony. 2273 "Liberty granted to Ralph Allin to keep a ferry att or near Pocassett for transporting of passengers to and from Road Iland to the maine; and likewise libertie is graunted unto him by the Court to purchase an hundred acrees of land of the Indians, on condition that hee pay the sume of ten point ot the collonie; this land is to be purchased from him my Mr. Constant Southworth, or James Walker, or either of them, being ordered by the Court with himselfe to doe it."
