  General Notes:

John married twice and per his Family Search page no one is sure about the mothers of his children. Certain things can play into it though. We know his first wife, Margarett (Mary) died in 1754. Two years before that in a removal certificate to Abington, she is named along with children Mary, Margaret, Rachel & Amos. From that we can deduce, lacking birth records right now, that at least those four children were by his first wife, Margarett, called Mary, Routledge, who he had married in 1726. Other children named in his will, should be by his second wife, Margery, the widow Salts.

  Research Notes:

Hinshaw shows Rachel (form Smith) disowned for married out of union. Not sure who this is.

Brother? Joseph Strickland of Northampton, PA wrote a will 1 May 1737: names wife Sarah Strickland and in a smudged line ["my So-bling Brother in Law John Sillborne"] executors.
