His sons, John, Joseph and Walter married sisters, daughters of Benjamin Mason of Fairhill.
"Henry Comly, Jr., did not settle on the 300 acre Warminster estate left to him by his father although he still retained possession of it. (He willed half of it to his son Robert.) He obtained, through his father-in-law, Robert Heaton, and his brother-in-law, Robert Heaton, Jr., two tracts of land comprising a total of about 900 acres of the manor of Moreland, in Philadelphia County, situated on what is now [1939] the Tomlinson Road."
