There are several possiblites for her parentage and birth. OPC Dorset has her father as John Russell, but the baptism in 1617 would have her marriage age at 12. The marriage is good at 1629/30 from the registers.

Sarah married Walter Spicer, son of John Spicer and Thomasine Read, 19 Feb 1629/30 in Dorchester, Dorset, England.¹⁹⁵⁶ (Walter Spicer was born in 1603, christened 22 May 1603 in Dorchester, Dorset, England ¹⁹⁵⁸ and died 19 Apr 1681 in Dorchester, Dorset, England ^1959,1960.)
