Inherited the Westmill farm (it stayed in the family until 1815 when a gt. gt. grandson sold it to a Mrs. Beal.) about 1650 he acquired Coxhampstead, a tenant farm at Braughing. Later, various descendant Wymans were owners or tenant farmers in Standon, Aspendon, Little and Much Haddon. Little and Great Munden, Bishop's Storford, Throcking, Ware, Albury, Little and Great Hormead, and Anstey; all within ten miles of Westmill. The last male Wyman in the area was Francis Wyman son of Walter of Hormead Hall, who died 1907 at Anstey, whose wife Sara Ann Wyman d. Buntingford 1935.
It was Thomas' son John who came to Woburn in 1679 and was called 'Sergeant' John Wyman.
