This marriage is a surmise by BANTA:
"This (supposed) daughter is not mentioned in Thomas Sayre's will, but it is a surmise from an entry in Southampton Town Records, 14 March 1663 that Edmund Howell 'sells land to his father-in-law, Thomas Sayre'. 'Father-in-law' was, however, sometimes used for 'stepfather' and it is possible that Sayre had remarried Eleanor, the widow of Edward Howell, the father of Edmund." p24 1
Miss married Edmund HOWELL. (Edmund HOWELL was born about 1635 and died in 1706 in New Jersey.)
