Military: From the Van Deusen Genealogy by A.H.Van Deusen (1912), p 86 we have that in 1767 Robert Van Deusen was a member of Capt. Johannis Hogeboom's Co. of militia at Claverack, and during the Revolution was a member of the 9th Regt. of Albany Co. Militia with land bounty rights.
Robert married Catharina HAM, daughter of Conrad HAM and Rachel ROHRBACH, on 8 Jun 1750 in Livingston, NY. (Catharina HAM was born in 1733-1735 and died after 1766.)
