Mar. 20, 1943: Assigned AA Command, Newport, RI attached to the Navy
July 1944 to Sept 1944: Assigned to 107th Coast Artillery, OTC, Ft. Benning, GA
Oct. 1944 to Jan. 1945: Assigned to the 1st Army command, England.
Jan. 1945: Assigned 3rd Army, 99th Division, participated in the Battle of the Ruhr, April, 1945.
Sept 1945: CO US Redeployment Center, Le Harve, France
Mar. 18, 1946: separated from the service, Ft. Sheridan

(The source of this is likely Nathan himself who may have narrated it to me. Offical service records were lost in a disastrous fire in St. Louis in 1957.)

Nathan says in his oral history that he lived at the end of Forest Ave, yet the censuses show his father, Nathan and the family at 306 River St.
