Military: Enlisted in the Revolutionary War Mar.20, 1777 in Capt. Wait's company, Col John Stark's regiment, and was paid a state bounty of 20 pounds. Jan 22, 1778 was in Capt. Farwell's company, Col Joseph Cilley's regiment; became a corporal, and is reported to have been killed in action. p 57 193
