bullet  General Notes:

Anabel's mother died in the summer of 1869 when she was a year and a half old; her father remarried Mary Francis Gerry in 1870. Anabel and her older sisters were raised by her step-mother Mary. Anabel was close to her step-mother's sister, Sarah, who married James A Pepper of Mankato in 1875, when Anabel was 7 years of age.

Very little is known about Anabel, other than her mother died when she was a year and a half old and she was raised by her father's new bride, Mary Francis Gerry. She was living with her youngest son, William Spicer, Sr. when she died in 1942.
